UAE document photos: sources and submission rules
A photo requirement belongs to the application you are making, not to the language you use. Before preparing a visa or identity-document photo in the UAE, check the receiving authority’s instructions rather than relying on a common size alone.
Start with official guidance
ICP publishes personal-photo guidance covering image quality, a frontal face, even lighting and a plain light background. Read the official document linked below and then the instructions for your exact application. General quality guidance does not establish the file dimensions or upload method for every service.
Dimensions are not an acceptance decision
The UAE format in our catalogue has low confidence because requirements can differ between services. It is not a verified universal specification for every visa or Emirates ID application. Check width, height, file size and submission method with the receiving authority before using a file or printing it.
